Presentation of the Anti-Troll Kit
The Anti-Troll Kit against bullying and cyberbullying offers solutions for elementary and secondary school students facing problematic situations on social media or at school. Each student can choose the solution that best suits them.
Parents have access to a comprehensive guide that includes basic social media concepts, advice, and steps to follow in case of a problematic situation online or at school. The Anti-Troll Kit aims to provide comprehensive support to ensure a positive and safe experience, both online and at school.
What is a troll?
A troll is an individual who uses telecommunications to annoy, harass, or intimidate someone maliciously or to incite fear.
Origin of the Kit
To help address the growing issues young people face on social media, school police officer Samuel Milot from the Service de Police deTrois-Rivières launched the Cyberbullying Anti-Troll Kit in 2022, with essential support from numerous partners and schools. This exceptional partnership now offers quality solutions and information to young people across Quebec.
The active involvement of partners, including the Ministère de la Famille, contributed to the success of the Anti-Troll Kit. Without their support and expertise, the initiative would not have come to fruition nor have the impact it has today.
In November 2025, the Anti‑Troll Kit received the Excellence Award from Réseau Intersection, and in May 2026, thanks to financial support from the Ministère de la Famille, the topic of bullying at school was added to the website.

Partners
Since the creation of the Anti-Troll Kit, several partners have been involved in developing the project, and the Trois-Rivières Police Department wants to acknowledge their participation and incredible work.

Partner schools
All secondary schools in Trois-Rivières and their dedicated professional teams have participated in the development of the Anti-Troll Kit. Without their support, the project would have been impossible.
